Pre-production has begun on "Little Buccaneers"
"Little Buccaneers" is a 30-minute educational exploration series for the Pre-K to Second Grade age group that incorporates learning, discovery and teamwork with the swashbuckling, musical and often humorous adventures of Buccaneers sailing the high seas. (www.littlebuccaneers.com)

"Little Buccaneers" also takes advantage of a in-house new technology called LUSH CG which delivers living, breathing, dense environments in a 3D application.

Pure digital
Our studio, in conjuction with a major film technology company, is now using a direct to digital camera system for it's upcoming production of "Little Buccaneers". Our use of this tapeless recording system will speed up work flow and produce higher quality masters eliminating any analog systems.

News on our Render Farm
Our in house render farm (dubbed "The Beehive") has been updated and now supports 136 CPU nodes along with increased online fiber optic storage of 15 terrabytes. In house software has been updated to support many new file formats.

Completion of Season One "It's a Big Big World"
In September we completed our production work on the hit PBSKids program, "It's a Big Big World" for PBSKids/Sony/Wainscott Studios. We are very happy to have worked on the show and are looking forward to the Emmy Awards and Season two!
